When your child finds a game in an old junk shop he is magically transported, with his friends, to a medieval castle. They must use their skill and courage to save the kingdom.
This medieval adventure brings sparring knights and a magical quest to life as your child is transported to a medieval castle where an evil queen is threatening to turn everyone to stone. I bought this book for my freind's son. The family is moving away and was a perfect gift to give him as a keep sake. This book is great and I love the fact that as well as adding your child in, you can add some of their friends too. My only comment would be that some sort of age rating for the book would be helpful before ordering as there is actually a lot of text in this book and it is probably a little too old for my little boy at the moment. Not a problem as I can put it away for when he is older, but an age guideline for the books would be helpful!

I was very pleased that the book arrived 2 days after ordering it. It is a great idea and a very unique gift. It was a gift to a friend's son, but had my son's names in to too. So a gift that my kids loved giving also...of course we read the book before we gave the gift!

I love this book. I work as a nanny and it's the third book i've purchased from Penwizard. Makes a great present for children, something that hopefully they'll treasure. The story is simple but captivating and suitable for a range of ages. Delivery is always super fast as well.

I purchased this book for my son who would like to be a knight when he is older!! This was the ideal book to fuel his imagination. It felt so much more personalised as I was able to chose his hair texture, colour and skin tone. I was able to adapt his friends and family's hair and skin tone. It made the book so much more realistic. As well as the adaptability it is a fabulous read to inspire and help him feel good about himself!

I was looking for a personalised book for my god son and was given this website by a friend. I didn’t want a branded one that could go out of fashion. This was by far the best personalised book I have seen. Excellent story and illustrations, lots of name inclusions and the child saves the day. My nephew (who is going to be a knight when he grows up!) will love his 5th birthday present.

I was surprised at how quickly my personalised knight book arrived. It'll make a great present for my cousin who loves all things medieval. The book is good quality but slightly expensive for what it is (one you include delivery charges).

This book is fabulous for my 5 year old who adores knights. The story is pitched about right for 5-6 yr olds(which is lucky since you have no chance to review the story before purchasing- Penwizard!). It would have been nice to see how the characters would be used. Overall I know my son will be thrilled with it.

Was really pleased with the quality and swift arrival of the book. Only critique would be that it's not very clear that that adult names would only be used once, whereas the children's names are used frequently, which is great.

I ordered this for my 6 year old Godson - it is fantastic - he is going to love it. I was worried about the reading age, but having read the book now I think it is suitable. I read it to my 5 year old nephew and he really enjoyed it! The fact you can choose hair/skin colour for the characters makes the personalisation even better - the only imporvement I would suggest is having a bald option for the man!! A lovely gift and I will defiately be back for more for others. Very prompt devivery too. Thank you.

I'd recommend this service to anyone looking for a personalised gift for little ones. The book was easy to order and arrived quickly. My only minor quibble would be that there's no guidance on the reading age for books - it would be helpful to see a recommendation e.g. this book is suitable for ages 5-7.
